Day 1: Rishikesh/Haridwar to Joshimath

The first day of the Pangarchulla trek we travel from Rishikesh / Haridwar to Joshimath. The distance between the two places cannot be travelled without a vehicle, hence we will be sharing cabs on the first day. These cabs will be chargeable apart from the participation fees.

Day 2: Joshimath to Dakh village to Gulling camp

Dakh village will be our starting point of the trek, however, to reach Dakh we will have to travel a distance of 10 km by our cabs. It’s best if we move from Joshimath early in the morning after breakfast, this will ensure that we reach our final destination on time. Once we have reached Dakh village, we start trekking towards the Gulling camp. The camps have an alluring view that makes you fall in love with the place!

  • Total Distance – 10 Km (drive) and 5 Km (trek)
  • Travelling Time – 30 mins (drive) and 4 Hrs (trek)

Day 3: Gulling camp to Lower Khulara

On day three, we completely trek! We do not cover any distance by cabs or any type of vehicles, so you better keep your shoelaces tight! From the Gulling camp, we move to thelower khulara.

Day 4: Khulara to Kuari Pass base

It is time to move from Khulara, we will trek to the Kuari Pass. Covering the entire distance from Khulara to the Kuari top is not possible, hence we will only trek to the Kuari Pass.

Day 5: Kuari Pass to Pangarchulla Summit (Return to Tali Camp)

Entire day five is divided into two segments. In the first segment, we move from Kuari Pass to Pangarchulla peak. The trekking distance from the base to the top is 4 Km, it may take around 4 Hrs to reach the destination. The second half of the day we return to our Tali Camp.

Day 6: Tali camp to Auli to Joshimath

The second last day of the trek will be time consuming and exciting! We will visit a number of places, starting from Tali camp. One of the main destinations that we will visit will be Gurson bu-gal, surrounded by natural beauty. Then we trek to Auli, covering a distance of 6 Km from Tali camp by trek. From Auli, we will drive to Joshimath.

Day 7: Joshimath to Rishikesh / Haridwar

This is the last day of the Pangarchulla trip, we move towards Rishikesh/ Haridwar. We have our breakfast in the morning and checkout from the hotel. The drive alone takes around 10 hours.

Risk: Lack of оf communication devices In thе remote areas оf thе Himalayas, mobile networks dо nоt reach. On a trek, оnе iѕ cut оff frоm thе world оf calls, SMSs оr watsapps.

In case, you wish to cancel your trek, please call us directly at our contact number. The cancellation charges are as under:
  1. Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek — full refund.
  2. Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund.
  3. Cancellation less than 20 days to the start of the trek — no refund.
Please note: In case of refund, there will be a deduction of 4% (cancellation charges) from the total fee you have paid. Also, if you have opted for a trek insurance, the amount will not be refunded.
